What do you think of my vibrant new brooches and keyrings?
Just in time for the festive season, I have introduced a brand new vibrant range of limited edition keyrings, alongside some colourful new brooches.
Brimming with beautiful Yorkshire lavender, my keyrings will add a burst of colour to your handbag. Pop one on your bunch of keys, or hang one up in the kitchen for a waft of lavender lovliness!
Each design is unique and was originally drawn by my own fair hands, before being transferred onto a silk screen, a device used to hand-print the designs onto cotton fabrics in my studio.
The intricate printing methods used enable every brushstroke to be captured, enhancing the feel of the hand-painted design and making each piece truly original. Once printed, the fabric is then pieced together and machine stitched, filled with lavender and finished with a metal ring for hooking onto your car keys, handbag or for even putting in a drawer.
My brooch collection previously included five different shaped wooden brooches, from ovals to the quintessential English bird, the wren. I have now added another five, which includes two festive robins, a poppy seed head, a pear and leaf.
A quirky accessory for a jacket or favourite handbag, my brooches have been individually handmade here in the studio. Laser cut plywood is screen printed with my design, before a fabric insert is added. Contrasting perfectly with the finish of the wood, the brooches feature images inspired by some of Yorkshire’s stunning urban areas.
